Please support the Humanitarian Fundraising for Ukraine! Fundraising $3,500 for drinking water for residents of South of Ukraine!
Dear Parishioners and Benefactors:
August 24 is the Independence Day of Ukraine.
The war in Ukraine has been going on for ten years, and the full-scale terrorist invasion of the russian invaders has been going on for almost two years. Due to the lack of any great success in combat operations, russian terrorists kill the civilians of Ukraine and insidiously destroy vital infrastructure.
Therefore, on the night of June 6, 2023 russian war criminals blew up the Kakhovka Dam, leaving a large number of towns and villages without drinking water.
Our parish is holding a solidarity collection, timed to the 32nd anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence, for one truckload of drinking water for the needy in South of Ukraine. The cost of the drinking water and transportation from the West of Ukraine to the South, with one truck containing 22 tons of water, is $3,500.
